Pet Behaviour Counselling

Our behavioural consultations seek to discover and address the underlying cause of your pets’ problem and provide welfare friendly, long term solutions that are suitable for both you and your pet rather than quick fixes that may mask or redirect the problem. We can provide consultations for any animal for problems such as:

• pet-pet aggression
• pet-human aggression
• indoor toileting
• fears and phobias
• separation type problems
• handling problems

Training

We can help you train your pet, what ever pet you have. For dogs a level of basic training is essential to allow you to take them out in public safely and enjoyably but any pet can benefit from the physical and mental stimulation afforded by training, as well as improving the relationship between you and your pet.

For example we can help with:

• trust training (teaching you and your pet to trust each other)
• housetraining
• basic commands (sit, down etc)  
• 'tricks' e.g. roll over, weave, wave etc

Pet Advisory Services

We can help you get the most out of the relationship with your pet by providing advice and help on issues relating to pet care and behaviour, for example:

• selecting the right pet or breed of dog for your family
• how to introduce a new pet to your family
• how to introduce a new baby into a house with pets
• your legal obligations as a pet owner
• teaching you and your children how to care for your pet
• how to avoid behaviour problems in the future
• how to provide enrichments for your pet to increase physical and mental stimulation
